Although I’ve always had a passion for art, the idea of becoming an artist once felt unattainable, especially before the rise of social media. Back then, success seemed dependent on gallery representation or insider connections, both of which felt out of reach for me.

After years of working in jobs that left me feeling unfulfilled, and after becoming a mother of my two children (whom I love more than anything), I found myself feeling more lost than ever. It was during this time that I returned to art as a form of self-care. What started as small doodles gradually blossomed into larger paintings, and before long, I had rekindled my passion for creativity and rediscovered a part of myself that had been missing. Through trial and error, and endless exploration, I began to lean more into capturing the beauty of nature. The deeper I immersed myself in my art, the more joy and fulfillment I felt, not only in my work but within myself. As my creative journey evolved, so too did my skills and my sense of purpose.

I became more and more fascinated by the intricate details of plants, flowers, and landscapes—their shapes, colours, and textures. These natural elements serve as both a reflection of my own growth and a reminder of the resilience and potential within us all. My work is an exploration of the relationship between organic forms and vibrant, intuitive colour. I blend realism with abstract elements, creating a unique visual experience that invites the viewer to see nature in a new light. Every stroke is guided by emotion and spontaneity, allowing me to capture not just what I see, but what I feel.

In my creative process, I aim to infuse each piece with a sense of life, energy, and connection. Whether I’m painting a delicate flower or an expansive landscape, I strive to evoke a sense of wonder and tranquillity in those who view my work. I believe that art should speak to the soul, much like nature itself. My hope is that my creations offer a moment of reflection, joy, or inspiration—a reminder of the beauty that surrounds us, often in the simplest of things.
